The Iguazu Falls are located in northeastern Argentina and Brazil limit (Paraná ). Most of the falls are within Argentine side.
The "Cataratas" commonly called in Argentina, refer to the Iguazu Falls. They are a group of waterfalls that disembark on the Iguazu River on the borders of the province of Misiones and Paraná from Brazilian lands.

Located 1,600 kilometers away. approximately, the main ways to get to Cataratas from Ciudad Autónoma de Buenos Aires is by bus, car or plane.
If you go by bus you have to leave Retiro station. The bus companies that travel to the north of Argentina are Expreso Tigre Iguazú, Crucero del Norte and Via Bariloche.
For those who dare to go by car, it is recommended to take National Route 9 until Zárate, then take National Route 14 and then join National Route 12 through Provincial Route 40. The trip is long but you can appreciate beautiful landscapes during the journeys. At the end of the road the reward is great!
Finally, for those who prefer to arrive by plane, they can depart from Jorge Newbery Airport to the Iguazu Falls International Airport. The estimated flight time is 1:30 hs. The main airlines arriving are Aerolíneas Argentinas and LATAM.
