Victoria Isle is located in the middle of Nahuel Huapi Lake, Nahuel Huapi National Park, and its land has been protected since 1934 due to the richness of its flora and fauna.

The Isla Victoria and Bosque de Arrayanes (Victoria Isle and Arrayan Woods) excursion begins in Bariloche, where tourists get on board at Pañuelos Port to get to Quetri Hue Peninsula. There, they may visit Bosque de Arrayanes, a protected area full of over-300-year-old arrayan trees of more than 15 m high.
